The edgy, compulsive and exhilarating second single, “Medicine”, is an ode to self-medication, plummeting towards a grinding cauldron of epic harrowing angst, full of tension and unease, striving to relieve the pain rather than finding a cure.
A relentless feverish barrage of sizzling, thumping programmed beats, clattering cymbals, and ominously oscillating droning bass lines rides alongside shrilling and looping synth howls that swirl obsessively atop numb baritone spoken words, coldly aching with heavy breaths before exploding into agonized screams and blustery angsty rumbles.
