My favourite Melbourne-based all-girl ‘brat punk’ three-piece Suss Cunts, comprised of Nina Renee, Tahlia Eastman and Helena Holmes, has just unveiled the first track, ‘Newby’, from the forthcoming sophomore EP, just to be straight my track of the day.
After last year intoxicating self-titled debut EP, via Beko Disques and Emotional Response, of anthemic garage pop punk gems, with amazing titles as ‘Anemic Boyfriend’ or ‘Shit Friend’, here is another rush of female angst and sassy, melodic punk, so fresh and infectious it’s going to be stuck in your head for many days to come, my morning couldn’t start in the better way, indeed.
