Slow Danse With The Dead is a Post Punk / Dark Wave one-man-band, with the will to expand as a duet, formerly known as The Endless, currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The gloomy and introspective artist has just released the new track “He Speaks Too Much”, as a preview of his forthcoming new 4-track cassette EP “S.D.W.T.D”.
An icy cold stark and moody enveloping slice of goth-tinged synth-laden darkwave with ‘cosmic’ nods to Bowie’s ‘Ashes To Ashes” and harsh lyrics.
Ominously hypnotic droning bassline pulses through steady taut snare beats, punctuated by syncopated and sputtering crispy percussive patterns and resonant bell-rings, pierced by high-pitched, pizzicato-like piano uncanny melodies, whilst deep numb, and cloudy male vocals hiss cold echoing exhales of arrogant vanity into the empty void of muted nihilism, shrouded in spacious, lustrous mind-bending synth wails.
