Paris-based synth-pop trio Silly Joy, we featured last May, is back with a brand new single entitled “Horny”.
Dark, hedonistic, unabashed yet playful and high-danceable, replete with strains of thrumming industrialized rhythms, “Horny” kicks into gear seedily propelled by steady punching beats interspersed by hypnotic bell chimes, while thick, sinuous bass-line winds its way, ominously resounding with sharpening sensuously strong groovy intensity, around dutiful, harried vocals, heightened by Depeche Mode-like tinny lustrous synth chords, lost in love, lust and anxiety command performance of a lifetime.
