Few days ago I listened to an excellent new song by another Mexican four-piece called PVLSR from Leon, apparently Mexican bands rule these days.
‘Rivera’, the third single from their forthcoming debut EP, amazingly melts shoegaze and post-punk suggestions, made of crispsy pulsating bass driven melodies, reverb-drenched jangling guitars and hazy vocals, in an ceaseless swirling vortex of irresistible hooks and poignant melancholy.
If from a song you’re looking for bursts of truthfulness, emotions, wistfulness and longing, this is right for you.
