Colombian electronic duo based in Bogotà, Noromakina, comprised of Mel UV and Pluszeichen, have just dropped a brand new 2-tracker, “Vortex”, the first single off the upcoming debut album, “Vile Vortex”, via German independent label COLD TRANSMISSION MUSIC.
“Vortex” is a sizzling and highly-energetic outburst of Electro Darkwave that marries the snappy electronic beats, swelling murky low ends, and a carefully crafted and sparkling analog synth design as infectious as it is set to storm any darkened dancefloor.
Desperate lyrics brood at the edge of a mental vortex where obsession and fear of abandonment weave nocturnal fantasies of doom and gloom.
Slashing mechanical rhythms propel a droning bassline that oscillates and bleeds alluring danger, smeared by intoxicating shivering, shiny synth sweeps, fluttering over distorted, harsh, menacing breathes and echoes, struggling and gasping in an eerie buzzing downward spiral of pain and temptation.
