The excellent debut EP titled “I’m not your friend anymore” from Ukrainian duo based out of Norma Warner based out of Kharkiv, comprised of Norma Warner (Evan Wind) and Alex Gross, was released on last days of 2018, it’s worth to be recovered especially for its great poignant guitar work and equally atmospheric and intense sombre dark vibes throughtout, blending post-punk edgy broodiness and shoegaze hazy atmospheric distortions.
In “Bloodless” foreboding frozen synth swells set the unescapable impending darkness blurring into smoldering morose bass pulses drag forward by pounding yet nimble, while hypnotic reverb-drenched blistering guitar stabs add further anxiety to the unescapable sense of claustrophobia and affliction distilled in cavernous and hallucinatory cries about a hopeless demented world numbed by anger, violence, and destruction caused by greed and selfishness.
