WL//WH Track Of The Day: NO SUITS IN MIAMI “Crying at the Club”

Track Of The Day  NO SUITS IN MIAMI

Deft purveyors of bright, highly melodic, shoegaze-y, jangly indiepop since the early inception of the blog in 2018, the Lund-based Swedish unit No Suits In Miami finally are back with the new single “Crying at the Club”, after a long break from the quartet’s 2022 brilliant sophomore album “Nothing Ever Happens”.

The new tune explores sharper, resonant jangling 6-string textures and headier melodies while retaining the band’s distinctive airy, ethereal quality, sure to captivate, once more, all who lend it their ears.

Urgent drums bop along with warm, snakingly humming bass pulses, to provide a vibrant spine for wiggling, nervy and ringing guitar riffs, crackling back and forth, whining and aching hopelessly with glittering bubbly keyboards, cause it’s 2 am and high angst, dreamy vocals cry at the club over being stood up by a friend.
