Mike Daimon is a DJ and producer based in the Greater New York City area, known for his moody, lush, and atmospheric soundscapes as well as hypnotic productions. Raised on bands like Skinny Puppy, Depeche Mode and Front 242, he always gravitated towards darker and deeper sounds, incorporating elements from EBM, Techno, Industrial, Dark Disco, Cold and Dark Wave.
The magnetic and moody dark electronic new single, “She Weeps”, which heralds the new year, explores the disconnection and deep sadness a woman feels after she takes her mask off to walk under the moonlight at midnight.
The track throbs its way into the bleak shadows spread out by the propulsive, insistent simmers of burbling bass rumbles, alongside thumping stark programmed beats, swept by poignant swathes of plaintive synths, casting chilly winds of gloom over emotionless male spoken words, shrouded in a haunted, unabating sense of sorrow and longing.
