Today popped up on Soundcloud an impressive debut demo track titled ‘Lignina’ from a brand new Spanish four-piece band from Granada called Lebend , first song from an upcoming, hopefully more consistent, ‘Rite O Passage’ [Demo].
‘Lignina’ is an awesome slice of shimmering, spacey dreampop with a peerless sense of melancholia and melody, so convincing and mature, that could easily fit in the 80’s Sarah or Creation Records catalogue, an infectious mix of energy and introsprection, that feels just timeless.
