We have followed Le Brame since the first single, in anticipation of the long-awaited debut EP “Cravings”, the Dark Wave/ Synth Pop solo project of Lucca-bred artist and musician Federico Piegaja, who has just dropped the last sleek and compelling synthy teaser, titled “City Roads”, from the incoming full release, mixed and produced by the illustrious London-based, fellow Italian synth-wizard Jack Milwaukee (M!R!M).
With inspiration drawn from the brilliant and nostalgic New Wave / Synth Pop heady sounds of the 80s Italian era, laced with a dynamic modern flair, the song arouses anxious spirals of vibrant icy bright synth melodies fused with chugging bass lines, stacked marching beats, majestic immersive glowing chords, and attention-grabbing jazzy saxophone blows, to surround romantic heartfelt layered vocals, lost on the “City Roads” due to a maddening lover, with the glaring urgency of not knowing which direction to go.
Le Brame‘s single “City Roads” is taken from the incoming first EP “Cravings”, scheduled for release on December 23, 2023.
