Following last month debut EP “Visions of a New Age”, actually a collection of all the singles that have been made since the Summer of last year, English five-piece band based in Manchester, Juliper Sky, made of lead vocalist Jamie Lambert, guitarists Dan Parker and Liam Grindell, bassist Roger Damen and drummer Ben Pursehouse, have just released the brand new single “Infinite Jets”, another leap forward in their constant exploration and definition of their own distinctive style, walking the fine, dangerous yet intriguing, line between dream pop, shoegaze and psychedelia.
Equally majestic and meditative, where melody and atmosphere swirl seamlessly, “Infinite Jets” is a poignant, powerful sweeping build of cloud-scraping guitars tuned to radiant lysergic reverberations, billowing hearty bass pulses, deeply textured warm synths, and hypnotic syncopated drums to reach a blistering, intoxicating crescendo of paralysing impassioned intensity in a shimmering seductive whirlwind of splashing cymbals and searing six-string leads over peaceful inebriated stirring vocals soar in carefree abandon lost in mind-blowing euphoria.
Juliper Sky are exceedingly persuasive at sculpting profound entrancing moods and carrying shivery emotions just in a space of a single guitar-driven track with an anthemic The Verve-like quality, resonating with unbridled passion and emotional urgency, revealing once more a striking potential.
Keep up with Juliper Sky:
