Chicago-based DIY singer, composer and musician Alessia Kato, under the Ghost Days alias, has been delivering lo-fi Dream Pop since early 2018.

Ghost Days‘ early Beach Fossils style washed out jangly sound breathes at the same time of shimmering morning breezes and chilling dusk mists, amidst swirling weaves of crystalline guitar sounds, delicate and steady rhythmic flows, and emotive vocals of warm enveloping introspection.

The new single, “Your hand, this sky”, one of the most captivating listens from last weekend, is a cozy reverie punctuated by vibrant rhythms and meandering springy bass lines, swaying endlessly under effect-filled sparkling cascades of chiming guitar embroideries, that echo and flitter over high dreamy vocals, aching and longing to be taken away into celestial winds of hopeless nostalgia.
