WL//WH Track Of The Day: FOLIAGE & .COM “Everything’s Okay”

Track Of The Day FOLIAGE & .COM

Fresh off his 2025 Austin SXSW debut, San Bernardino, California-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Manuel Joseph Walker, a.k.a. Foliage, a staple of the DIY Indie scene since 2014, teams up with fellow Corona, CA based artist Cameron Khan (.com) to deliver a bright and nostalgic, captivating summer-pop anthem, the uplifting new single “Everything’s Okay.”

For me, what started as a song about a fleeting love became a rediscovery of something that gave me life – something that remains steady even after you’ve been worn down or made to feel small… Returning to music after a recent period of silence, doubt, and hardship was like reclaiming a part of myself. Working with .com in my studio helped me reconnect with that part of who I am in a way that felt honest and healing. says Foliage

Skipping drum patterns drive a sun-drenched haze of melancholic, jangly guitars that shimmer and flicker like glowing rays of light refracting through the iridescent surface of water, draped with a flurrying carpet of fluid, cool synths, as soft, airy, wistful vocals soar, capturing a heartfelt sense of rediscovery of life.

Heralded by a couple of recent persuasive tunes, Foliage, powered by com., is back at what he does best: catchy and dazzling soulful songs, rooted in the present while washed with nostalgia, centered on dreamy, bittersweet melodies that blend seamlessly with sprightly and sparkling guitar work, crafted with earnest elegance and lightness.
