WL//WH Track Of The Day: FALLE “Expectation”

Track Of The Day Falle

Hailing from Vienna and Graz, Austrian 3-piece FALLE have just dropped their first track “Expectation” from the forthcoming debut cassette album “Expectations”, slated to be released on December 12, 2019 via Vienna‘s independent label CUT SURFACE.

Armed of just sharp synths, bleak pulsing basslines, and rumbling drums, the power trio plays a minimal, stark and hypnotic tension-filled synth-punk with 80s UK post-punk undertones.

Icy, humming alarming synth washes pierce through ominous, terse, throbbing bassline, underpinned by pummeling drums, that sneaks unwaveringly as tightly as the unnerving and fearful claustrophobic mood ooze by anxious and worried male vocals, emphasized by female backing, to add a menacing sense of urgency and threat topped by dramatic surging synth riffs, leading fatally into the murky shadows of deep alienation and disillusionment.

Easy to say the first preview suggests great ‘expectations’ for the upcoming band’s debut.

Keep up with Falle:
