French musician from Marseille, aside from his long-standing post-punk / deathrock / darkwave project Violet Sky, has started, with a debut self-titled full-length in January, under his alias Erik Wave, a dark electronic project that blurs the lines between electro, synth-pop and synthwave.
“Dark Dance”, the third new track in a row this month, is an infectious, romantic and sensual dark dance floor bliss. Deep, mysterious and groovy, the bass line comes in thick and strong, underpinned by brooding synth lines that provide the gloomy feel, whilst echoing female breathing vocals giving the track an intense, powerful voluptuous vibe that embraces the listener in cloudy swirling waves of ecstasy and pleasure.
