Norman, Oklahoma post-punk 4-piece Dresden Bombers, comprised of Mike Burnett (bass/vocals), Sam McCool (drums), Kim Means (keyboards/vocals) and John Means (guitar/vocals), have just dropped their debut 4-track EP titled “Dance Music for Sad People”.
Clean and minimalist, “A Fragment” exudes a tormented and desolate spleen, driven by subtle, alienating and icy keyboards, reminiscent of early The Sound, along with sturdy drums, married with the fatalist crooning vocals and the distorted guitars filling the air with harmonious discord. Enveloping a visceral desperation, an angst, conflicted by memories of the past and the sad unavoidable reality of what is today.
