Destroy All Horizons is the Greek one man project of Theodore Kara from Thessaloniki, a city is turning out to be a source of brilliant musical talents . His aims is to ‘express the unknown through noisy guitars, sharp-chorus bass lines and industrial drum machines followed by repeated vocals…’, and it’s working with no more than an handful of songs.
The new track, aptly titled ‘Dark’, following the path described above, falls into a cold and blackened but at the same time sultry and lush slow-burning atmosphere made of turgid and sticky bass, pounding grooving beats, emotive and seductive guitar chords , embracing and menacing synths and obsessive and repetitive vocals : ‘Fading past is slow and I’m caged inside the walls…/ Fading past is slow an my heartbeats always fall’, an haunting and exhausting introspection into the darkest places of the tormented human soul.
