Track Of The Day DANSER LA NUIT
Born from the ashes of the ’80s-influenced Italian New Wave act The Monitor, the Carpi based duo Danser La Nuit, made up of Adam Void (Paolo Neri) on vocals, bass, guitar and synthesizers, and Filippo Dj Mask (Filippo Ferretti) on synthesizers, add Goth-clad Darkwave energy and an Industrial-charged rhythmic drive to their archetypal moody Post Punk/Synth-Wave leanings.
Following last year’s well-received eponymous debut album, Danser La Nuit is slowly unveiling, through an array of previews, the second full-length “Notturna,” due out on August 1st, once again via SwissDarkNights Label.
“Feel The Darkness,” featuring Silvia Pantieri (Lunalith) on vocals, captures the untamed obscure passion and aching melancholy at the core of the most electrifying Darkwave, lyrically exploring a combative relationship wrought by darkness, pain, running away, and constant mind changing.
A rousing male/female vocal combination of cold baritone commands, haunting emotional howls, and shrill distortions layers and shifts intensity beneath a bristling, churning interlace of ceaseless clattering, pounding drum patterns, buzzing throbbing bass lines, ominous murky blasting undertones, and desolate icy shivering synth surges, to resonate with a cathartic dance floor appeal.
Danser La Nuit‘s sophomore album, “Notturna,” will be released in limited-edition CD & Digital, on August 1st, via SwissDarkNights Label.
