Running along the boundaries between Synthwave and Coldwave, Constant Silk, the Toulouse, South of France-based duo comprised of Marion Moulinou & Alex Evans, has recently dropped their third single, “Another Bad Day”, since their 2024 dual song inception.
A restrained and yet intense and achingly intimate atmospheric synth ballad about how past choices and self-deception cause indecision and fear of failure through a lens of not wanting to let others down

“Another Bad Day” relentlessly plods through hypnotic lashing drum patterns, pulsing with ominously distorted, buzzy bass shuffles, while distant, burnished sequences and blurry twinkly melancholic synth melodies resonate and linger atop wistful, fearful male vocals, drifting in and out of a contorting sea of doubt to swerve into an agonized fall, crying, “I don’t want to make another mistake.”
