WL//WH Track Of The Day BRIDES
Florida-based, Norwegian dynamic multi-instrumentalist Hide Tepes, besides his Post-Industrial project Carrion and as well as being part of the Aggrotech/Industrial band MissFit Toys, has started this year, for a brief period as Brides In The Floodlights, a new Goth Post-punk / Darkwave solo endeavor under the BRIDES moniker with five singles under his belt, via Colorado-based experimental music and media label Produkt 42, the latest of which titled “Death On The Beach”.
Introspective lyrics, from the troubled thoughts of a lost soul, torment in a discomforting revelation of light and darkness, to fall hopeless while searching for someone or something to find them.
A misty torpor steers a slow decline imbued with intensely engrossing sweet melancholy, veiled in faded gray colors of a rainy autumnal dusk, to stumble through light crisp broken rhythmic patterns woven with murky droning low ends, and relentless, despondent dull keys, slowly pierced by the indwelling desolation of eerie ceremonial glowing synth flows, surround weak, hoarse lost vocals, fading hopelessly into a dreaded limbo between heaven and hell.
