WL//WH Track Of The Day: AN_NA “Tomorrow”

Track Of The Day  AN_NA

Survivors of 30 years of concerts in all conditions, AN_NA, last Electro-punk variant before the extinction, travel between the Velvet Underground, Kraftwerk, Anne Clark, or D.A.F.

Montreal, Quebec-based Synth-driven Punk duo AN_NA intriguingly combines, through an unyielding punk attitude, pulsating and minimal cold electronic sound, mining elements from New Wave, Post-punk, Techno, Electro, Coldwave and Synthwave, with magnetic Apocalyptic spoken word poetry, delivered in a subtly sharp and reflective, yet full of restrained pathos tone.

The band have dropped the second preview, the wintry Synth Wave cut “Tomorrow”, from their future second full-length “More Pills.”

Against a mechanical and throbbing backdrop of a steady stomping drum machine and rumbling basslines, topped by wavering icy bright synth arpeggios, swirling with epic desolation over sad, anguished spoken vocals, getting ready to die in an apocalypse scenario, whilst holding the hand of a loved one forever.
