Formed in 2022, Sydney (Eora) denizens Adorer are a 4-piece shoegaze band, coasting the edges of the classic Shoegaze sound patterns, enriched with Grunge grit and Post-Rock atmospherics, nested in the friction and harmonization of quiet and loud aesthetics, deftly moulding it, simultaneously striking the listener with harrowing vorticies of lush wall-of-noise distortion, as well as brushing and engulfing with stirring melancholic melodic intensity.
When a loved one “Slowly” burns everything down, a desperate soul, feeling the air slip out of his lungs, holds on for dear life.
Wistful and reflective crystalline guitar chimes intersperse with tumultuous wavering swarms of churning, fuzzed-out guitar riffs, underlaid by heavy stumbling drums and deep pulsing basslines, to cast out tortured, weeping leads acutely resonating over soft, agonizing vocals, achingly releasing pain.
