WL//WH Track Of Day: BLOOM EFFECT “Itero”

WL//WH Track Of Day  BLOOM EFFECT

Following the first 4-song EP “Portents” via Shore Dive Records at the very start of the year, Bloom Effect, the Vancouver, BC-based transnational Dream Pop / Shoegaze unit, comprised of Argentine-born vocalist/bassist Jula Lafit, UK-born guitarist Craig Weighman, and drummer Tom Rappa, unveil the first single “Itero” lifted from the upcoming sophomore 6-tracker EP “Oscilón,” slated for release on September 19th via the cult local label Kingfisher Bluez.

Atmospheric and effusive, as well as sinewy and distorted, “Itero”  bristles with simmering punk-laced riff energy propelled by a relentless, urgent drumming, into a whooshing whirlwind, overflowing with fuzz-swollen electricity, to crush against anxious, submerged vocals, falling for low distorted echoes.
