French record label based in Rennes, Vives, run by electronic DJ/producer and Organisme Texture resident, Weever, is going to release on April 6th, 2022, the new EP, titled “Forever In Waves”, by the Greek electronic artist under the Unified Method moniker.

Unified Method consists of a sonic entity existing within various musical styles, from Drum & Bass, Techno and Industrial to IDM and Noise. His sound is heavily influenced by urban imagery, films, textures, psychoacoustics, technology and the notion that electronic music has the ability to generate emotions yet to be discovered or defined in conventional ways. Harshness, repetition, layering and, in a sense, melancholic optimism are the main characteristics to be found in this project.

“Forever in waves” is a collection of tracks about time, choices, states of nothingness and transition. It’s the images and sounds of an imaginery place where you can never be sure the “Boat” even existed, a place you can barely tell the difference between memories, dreams and reality.

WL//WH is pleased to premiere the opening, equally turbulent and atmospheric, heavily percussive techno cut “Floating Light”.

A droning ominous low ends sneak under an energetic heady consumption of obsessively relentless hard-knocking kick drums, intercalated with metronomic tinny snares, and enshrouded in entrancing icy glaring synth blankets, whilst glowing strings of tinkling wistful chords, at times haunted by swirling looming distorted frequencies, illuminate bright horizons of secretive destiny, lying dormant beneath the chaotic dusts of urban decay into ancient primal expansions of emerging insight and interconnecting dreams.

Unified Method‘s new EP, “Forever In Waves”, including remixes by Gewalt and KOKETAMC, is due out, Cassette & Digital, from April 6th, 2022, through Vives label Bandcamp.
