WL//WH Premiere: TOMORROW’S TIGERS Remember the 80s at the “Odeon”

WL//WH Premiere  TOMORROW’S TIGERS

Active since the early 2000s, the North Hollywood, CA based duo of Chris and Autumn team up in Tomorrow’s Tigers to blend sparkling and catchy, 80s-inflected guitar-driven Indie Rock, Power-Pop and New Wave with vintage retrofuturist synth sound, finally releasing last July’s self-titled 4-track EP, from which WL//WH is pleased to premiere of the Official Music Video of “Odeon”.

The song is about the now defunct US movie theater chain CINEPLEX ODEON where our singer Chris used to work. His manager “Mr. Lee” would host after-hours parties in the theater where workers were able to drink, smoke and have otherwise unsupervised fun.
Emotional, urgent, and vibrant “Odeon” weaves steady bouncy drum beats, sonorous elastic rubbery bass line hooks, wistful twinkling guitar melodies and sweeping layers of icy bright synths, to stir up throbbing breezes of bittersweet nostalgia over heartfelt vocal harmonies, helplessly falling into a restless tide of rebellious, adolescent dreams.

Accompanied visuals capture the lively, ecstatic mood of a vintage stadium concert to sync seamlessly with the retro inspiration of the soundtrack. Memorable big hair, polos, members-only jackets, and nonstop dance energy fuels the collective imagination of an elated crowd, bringing back fond memories of the good old days.

Keep up with Tomorrow’s Tigers:
