WL//WH welcomes the Nijmegen, The Netherlands duo of singer/songwriter Kevyn van der Linden and producer/instrumentalist Jeroen Verstappen AKA The Psychedelic Birthday Party, for a Premiere of “Kid Anymore”, a soothing Indie-Folk tune about stepping into adulthood.

To enrich the intimate and nostalgic blend of Chamber Pop and melancholic Indie Folk, van der Linden and Verstappen invited guest musicians, Vera Aben on vocals, Coen de Veth on alt-saxophone, Niels Veron on piano, Sophie Toledo on additional piano and vocals, Wies Pijnenburg on violin, Keke Koolen on trumpet and Lisanne Adrienne on harmonic vocals for the recording process.

“Kid Anymore” builds a slowly expansive comforting aura around deeply emotional layered harmonic vocals, pensively lilting, strummed acoustic guitars, shimmery rippling reverberations, earnest piano chords, and soft, shuffling, persistent drum beats, through the warm, steadily rising, soul-stirring sentiments of lush orchestral swathes and gentle emotive brass flourishes, bringing forth a vibrant vision of wistful nostalgia.
