South Korean electronic DJ, Producer and Eyear Records co-founder with XXOK, Fandisk, and Emyung, oxymosoon keeps his steady journey to discover himself through music with the upcoming release of his forthcoming debut album “Narcissism,” due, in Vinyl 12″ and Digital formats, on November 22 2024.
Interpreting the genres and their inputs of IDM, Breakbeat, Downtempo, Techno and Experimental, the album seeks to explore self-consciousness from the observer’s point of view and defines its theme by exotic sound elements. The dark and suspicious atmosphere and uncomfortable glitch sound that scratches the eardrums lead to the result of one’s addiction and over-consciousness, which is composed of each significant synth sound and rhythmic instruments of each track.
oxymosoon‘s track “Pray For What”, WL//WH is pleased to premiere, takes the listener through a swirling droning vortex into a chaotic buzzing supernatural realm, where ominous pounding kicks and rapid pulsing bass lines restlessly revolve alongside the exotic rolling clattering of crispy and clanking percussive patterns, surrounded by obsessive alienating synth chimes, and eerie whirring and glitchy resonances, to unrelentingly hypnotize, haunt and engulf before disintegrating into a cold whirring loop.
