Following last March’s 5-song EP “FTEV”, New York-based multifaceted Dark Techno artist Madeline Seely, a.k.a. Nuxx Vomica doubles her affiliation to fellow Brooklyn‘s party/label Synthicide, with a ’90s-infused ravey and blistering new single, “No Money”, looking to further impose herself as a ‘grimy yet dancy’ staple musician and performer on the local, as well as international, dance scene.
WL//WH is pleased to Premiere the flip “Blind”, enshrouded in a churning and vibrant sneakingly seductive darkness, whilst still retaining its distinctive 90s club bent.
A shadowy disconnection of strobing dancefloor sweeps sparks off an infectious propulsive rush of compulsive clatter-plated bouncy bassline hypnosis, punchy mesmeric drum kicks, rapid crisp shuffling percussive throbbings, and antsy chiming synth strains, to sway betwixt oppressive and claustrophobic moodiness, whilst sensual flirtatious vocals croon and stutter for an all-night encounter in alluring bewitching frequencies.
Nuxx Vomica‘s 2-track single, “No Money”, is out now via Synthicide.
