Premiere Neon Lines Detonic Recordings
Neon Lies, the solo darkwave/minimal synth project of Goran Lautar from Zagreb, Croatia, needs no introduction here at WL//WH (January track of the day here, and interview here ).
We are glad to preview the new Neon Lies‘s single, “Visitors”, via Detonic Recordings, a haunting slow burner : the songs trajectory sketching the arc between losing and heeling. The track builds up from a minimal start with an almost palpable sense of desolation, capturing the true essence and black heart of one of central Europe’s most innovative recording artists.

The A-Side ‘Visitors’ was commissioned specially for the MVP Project, it will be accompanied by a version of ‘Ephemeral Meeting’ recorded Live in Barcelona. The Studio version, is available on the “Neon Lies II” LP from Berlin’s Black Verb Records.
The Single will be available digitally on Fri 13th July from Spotify, Deezer, iTunes etc and for free download from the Detonic Bandcamp.
“Minimum Viable Product” (MVP) is an incremental Compilation to be built over the year by Detonic Recordings. Each Month an on-line single will be published with an “A” and “B” side from each of the international artists participating in the project. At the end of the year the complete compilation (Vinyl and CD) will be released featuring the exclusive tracks from each contributor.
