WL//WH Premiere  Minaxi

Brooklyn, NY-based alternative rock 3-piece of Indian-origin, Minaxi, comprised of songwriters Shrenik Ganatra (Guitars and vocals) and Liam Christian (guitars, bass and additional vocals ) along with drummer Steve Carlincombine ’90s-tinged Shoegaze and Post Rock atmospherics with fuzzy flurries of distortion in the brand new single “The Deep Blue Sea Conveys Your Love”, produced by Patrick Hunt and the band itself, WL//WH is pleased to premiere, the first preview from the forthcoming Minaxi’s full-length LP, “Lazuleen”, scheduled to be released in June 2022

The flip includesThe Deep Blue Sea Conveys Your Love (Simon Scott “Modular” Remix)”, arranged, remixed and mastered by Simon Scott (of Slowdive fame). An ambient electronic re-shape introduced by bleeps and glitches to build cold ecstatic droning frequencies and swirling outer-spacey atmospheres with sparsely scattered beats around the magnetic pull of vocal humming energy.

The ability to see oneself through another’s loving eyes opens the doorway to heartfelt lyrics that draw from the beauty of nature and personal experience to pen an evocative poem about love, devotion, and serenity.

Restless, shifting tides of emotion compel hypnotic, obsessive, and penetrating glistening guitar melodies to wind bittersweet coils of longing and urgency around the soul-stirring breathless beauty of high/low vocal harmonies drawing hope and fear from low simmering bass lines and driving steady beats all surging into a distorted 6-string burst of chaotic ecstasy before falling calmly into the bright twinkling skies and rolling ripples of fanciful fate.

Minaxi‘s new single “The Deep Blue Sea Conveys Your Love” is due out on January 21, 2022, on Digital (plus a 4-page mini booklet containing the artwork, lyrics and song information in CMYK format, and “Lazuleen” promotional posters in RGB format) along with the Limited edition lathe cut 7-inch, through German independent label Oscarson Records, already on pre-order via the band’s Bandcamp.
