Mexico City-based Kyma Komplex label’s new 6-track digital sampler “Anthems Manifesto” is a declaration through songs that give voice to diversity and equality, a collection of powerful, inspiring, and representative songs of an important movement curated by Lucas Novaes.

WL//WH is pleased to premiere the heady, crackling and retro-futuristic Dark Disco trip, “No Siento Nada”, by newcomer Guatemalan DJ & producer Márian, who experiments with a mixture of Industrial-tinged Dark Melodic Sounds with elements of Indie Dance, Dark Disco, Acid, Italo and Techno.

Márian has been DJing in different bars and clubs around Guatemala City. She also became one of the residents at “Galaxia Casablanca” a Guatemalan female platform, as well as a monthly host at Room Radio.

Obsessive meandering moods kick start lashing stacked marching beats, nervous bouncy echoes, acid-speckled loose warbling bass lines, and lonesome spacey synth drifts, into an anxious alienated headspace, where scratchy distorted vocals, broken, glitchy flickering resonant FXs along with repetitive circling drones draw the dancer’s attention toward an incoming frequency, to shift numb hypnogogic sensations into an unexpected clarity of refined thought forms.
