Behind the name Lemon Schaden lies the production alias of DJ Eendracht. Resident and member of the ÖND collective based in Rennes, this indefatigable producer unabashedly enjoys mixing the softness of house samples with the violence of hardcore kicks. Influenced by the Dutch scene, Lemon Schaden abandons himself to wandering rhythms whose only conductors are darkness and chaos.
Lemon Schaden is going to drop the “April Flowers” EP, his second for the French label Armen Crew, featuring four originals that further explore his distinctive, genre-defying, multifaceted electronic sound.
WL//WH is pleased to premiere the atmospheric and esoteric “Unconscious Tribe”, where scattered, distorted kicks elicit a jittery, frantic strain to flicker with rolling and skittering crisp percussive patterns, pointed by the heavy resonant knock of ceremonial drums, invoking an emergence of eerie, supernatural synth washes, to hover with wave after wave of wooshing waters, bringing forth a deep sense of strength, mystery, transformation, and loss.
