“Hypersensible” is the idiosyncratic trace left by individuals oscillating between nightmare reality and waking dream, sailing between naïve euphoria and lucid disillusionment, trying to defy fatality and maintain hope, dancing in the pre-diluvian mud of a dying 21st century.

WL//WH welcomes the return of the Biel, Switzerland-based Minimal Synth duo of Sadie La Chèvre and Nora Düster AKA Extra Bleu Ciel, to the blog with the premiere of “Spiders”, taken from the forthcoming 12-track album, “Hypersensible,” scheduled for release on March 14, 2025, via London-based independent label Meta Moto run by Egzotikka.

Imagine having a nightmare where a spider is trying to kill you, there is nowhere to hide, and no one can hear you scream. Then you awaken and are able to see the dark powers of the real world at play, such as seduction, greed, anger, and fear, and you realize that reality is far worse than the terrifying dream.

“Spiders” triggers thumping, stumbling drum kicks and tinny, clinical beats that thread their way into sonorous buzzing low-end undulations, eerie, achingly twisting synth motifs and insistent piano keys, droning and tinkling with plain desolation, to surround softly stunned and in disbelief vocals, and haunted back-ups, with surreal feelings of menace, helplessness, and doom laden sorrow.

Extra Bleu Ciel’s upcoming album, “Hypersensible,” will be released, in Cassette & Digital formats, via Meta Moto label on March 14, 2025.
