Northern Ireland‘s Off-kilter Body Music experimentalist Christian T., a.k.a. Autumns, blends, with a minimalistic and straightforward hardware-led production approach, an electrifying crossover of Dub, Techno, Electro, New Beat, Post-punk, Industrial and No Wave to scratch the boundaries of EBM realms, braced with raw Punk energy.
Distinctive of the Irish artist’s cold, hypnotic, and whip-cracked delivery, “Have You Ever Held a Snake” triggers a snappy barrage of punchy kicks, stark pounding snares, obsessive crispy claps, cracking percussive fills and a relentless syncopated squelching bassline, to compel fear and thrills along with minimal bestial growls, whilst warm, disruptive, emotional no wave-tinged brass blows screech and tear through a thick intoxication of dance-compelling darkness.
