WL//WH New Music: YOU BEAST YOU ACT’s new video “NO”, plus more…

WL//WH New Music You Beast You Act

On September 23, 2020, Athens-GR based solo outfit You Beast You Act let out the brand new official video of ‘NO’, created by director Nikos Chantzis (Press Eject and Give me the Tape) who has also given the brilliant documentary ‘Music For Ordinary Life Machines’. The song was included in the album ‘For A Dream Flow’ (Dec. 2018) while another maxi (‘My Sister The Hell’) came out on September 3 this year.

Introducing Alexios Othon Theodoridis on the controls of all things synthgaze-experimental-electronica act You Beast You Act; also a member of the electronic duo Fizz4, and in the shoegaze indie band Mount Echo. He is a pretty productive artist with a wide variety of musings and sounds in his quiver and it is all drawing inspiration from the widest new wave spectrum. A guitarist himself, who is also very keen on synthesizers, and a vocalist too, he sounds like he is constantly looking for the next new thrill to amaze him. The whole soundscape in his mind can only be described with and by several genres; from the experimental electronica and ambient music to synthwave/synthgaze, definitely new wave with a gentle darkwave approach, and all the way up to the no-wave ‘instance’.

Of course, the album ‘For A Dream Flow’ is a must-listen if you are looking for a better, global view on his works. Our man is a very talented musician and all 9-tracks in it are showing some obvious hard work and a certain dedication to the goal. And that is, to create artistic music in sorts no-wave mostly. Brilliant!!!
