WL//WH NEW MUSIC: SOFT SCENT “The Howl” (Official Video)

 NEW MUSIC   SOFT SCENT

To start with, we want to hear more music soon by Soft Scent because the heat from the new Italian trio from Amcona/Fano, is turning up fast! “The Howl” is the band’s debut single and it is already making a strong impression with the freshness and immediacy of its nuanced modern take on ’80s Post-Punk and Darkwave tropes scented with stroboscopic hallucinogenic shades.

Soft Scent is Anna Graves (Vocals, Synths), Enrico Bartolini (Drums), and  Sara Rock  (Bass), the Italian Post Punk trio has paired the release with an Official Video by Coffeebreak Videoproduzioni, featuring the guitar and vocals of Tommaso Pompili and everything takes off like this:

Nocturnal and edgy, the band’s ‘ravenous’ debut fuses cold-iced bright synth strains with dramatic droning and glowing guitar riffs, steady thumping drum beats, and rumbling bass lines to encapsulate fearful angsty vocals, haunted by baritone echoes, with irresistible yet sinister claustrophobic swarms of  The Howl intoxication.

Dissociative and stirring, accompanied visuals by Coffeebreak Videoproduzioni cast strobing lights over a provocative black-clad performance by Soft Scent to sync seamlessly with the supernatural vibes of the soundtrack. Inside the Officina Amaranta in Fano (Marche), Italia, shapeshifting shadows and bewitching reflections heighten subconscious perception to give intimate insight into the magnetic pull of a full moon’s shadow-self madness.

Keep up with Soft Scent:
