WL//WH New Music: SAUVAGE “One Day Maybe” (Official Music Video)

New Music SAUVAGE

Brussels based electro-pop noir duet SAUVAGE, made up of singer Stien Bovijn and French producer and multi-instrumentalist Fab DuBard, deliver an 80s-tinged, elegant and emotional brand of dark synthpop with a distinctive blend of magnetic electro-minimal textures, droning bassline, glaring synth chords and alluring ethereal female vocalizations.

The pair followed up the release of their sophomore single, “One Day Maybe”, with the related music video directed by Maël Robijns and choreographed by Deniz Kazma

Shadows cloud memories from the penetrating ray of light, in search of a remote connection across the darkness of life. Trace overlays form unseen barriers over desperate expressions drawing tension between past trauma and new sight, as whispered dreams spin secret shame into mechanical movements of pain triggering instinctual reactions between the shadow self mirage and erroneous associations of thought, blurring the hidden force of love within a dramatic dance sequence.
