Croatian Minimal Synth / Dark Wave musician and composer Goran Lautar returns under his usual Neon Lies moniker with a new video single for “Demons” the title track of last year’s acclaimed 4th album, “DEMONS,” co-released by Wave Tension Records (NL), Cosmic Brood (HR), and CD via Diffuse Reality sub-label Periphylla (SPA).
“Demons”, a song about realizing that every time we fail at something demons gets released inside us and we must kill them to survive, unleashes relentless punchy drum patterns laced with droning bass oscillations, throbbing urgently under ghostly swarms of edgy reedy synths, hopelessly swirling atop restless haunted vocals. suffering under the oppressive weight of pain and fear until a cathartic triune cry of “kill it” brings strength and clarity.
