WL//WH New Music Kroovys
Started in 2022, Kroovys is a four piece unit hailing from Monterrey, Mexico rooted in an atmospheric, hazy and melancholic take on the ’80s Post-punk, seamlessly informed with Shoegaze, Noise Rock, even Breakcore, and, as the latest single “Non Vixit”, Psychedelia.

“Non Vixit” is a slow-burning lysergic number doused in mind-expanding smoky narcotic ambience, built on a plodding bed of relentless resonant moody bass pulses and cymbal-laced pattering percussions, bled through by an obsessive slinky smoulder of evocative glistening guitar melodies percolating into sinister quivering ripples, whilst smooth drawn out breathes of warm lethargic intoxication are haunted by an array of subliminal and ghostly back-ups and swirling droning frequencies. At the 3:05 mark, the contemplative momentum suddenly lifts for about a minute then unhurriedly drops and unwinds into a droning cleanse, leaving the listener transformed.
Trippy visuals reflect blurry neon lights off the surface of the sea to expand perception in sync with the soundtrack. Within the psych vision, a lady in a white dress shapeshifts between a hand and a dove, bringing forth a positive feeling of spiritual modification.
