WL//WH New Music: HARDWARE PULSE “Tech-Noir”

WL//WH New Music  HARDWARE PULSE

Hardware Pulse is the Electro project of the dynamic Athens-based, Greek synthesist Toxic Razor (Paradox Obscur / Metal Disco / Beatbox Machinery), who has announced the release of the second album “Tech-Noir”, due out on October 6, 2023, the follow-up to the 2021 debut “Techno Valkyrie”, teased by the immersive video for the title track.

Mastered at Soundcave Studios Athens by Nikolas ‘The Mute” Chalntoupis, “Tech-Noir” sticks to Hardware Pulse’s signature dark electronic genre-bending style dedicated to the textures of hardware synthesizers and drum machines, specifically, Access Virus TI Polar, Roland JD-Xi, Roland D2, Novation MiniNova, Novation XioSynth, Korg Monologue, and Korg Electribe MX, performed and recorded with no virtual assistance.

‘Tech-Noir’ combines a retro-modern spaceship vision where lights and shadows pulse and strobe ceremoniously in sync with an eclectic neon fusion of asymmetric synth flashes, hollow drops, distant chimes, humming loping bass lines, stacked marching beats, and atmospheric swirls, to open prismatic portals of transhuman evolution, into a late-night cyberpunk mood of heady dancefloor escapism.
