WL//WH Premiere: JARDINES SIN EXPLORAR “Turbio” [Of Dolls and Murder / 21 Records / Little Buttery Records]

WL//WH Premiere  JARDINES SIN EXPLORAR

Tu música trasciende los planos y las fronteras Se hace innita e inmortal / your music transcends planes and frontiers, it becomes infinite and immortal

Buenos Aires-based electronic DIY label Of Dolls and Murder is proud to present the posthumous EP by Leo Méndez, aka Jardines Sin Explorar, titled “Control 333”.

This release features two incredible tracks that highlight Leo’s distinctive and uncompromising approach to electro and EBM. Originally envisioned as a four-track EP, the project was sadly left incomplete due to Leo’s untimely passing.

In collaboration with d21 Records, Little Buttery Records, and Outside In Distribution, we have brought Leo’s final work to life as a stunning vinyl release. More than just a collection of music, this release stands as a heartfelt tribute and celebration of Leo’s art and legacy.

WL//WH is pleased to premiere the first electrifying and hypnotic slab “Turbio”, which encapsulates the visceral Nitzer Ebb and DAF throwback spirit through a reinvigorating fusion of feral punk energy, throbbing old-style EBM bass grooves and ruggedly vibrant Electro-Industrial heart, to deploy a stone-cold, hard-hitting and crushing drum programming interlocked with gritty, throbbing bass syncopation, alongside sizzling, buzzy synth slivers, sinister metallic clanks and ominous bell tolls, fueled by an unaffected, strained chant urgency that bounces with a sneakingly bolstering backup, to take the dancefloor by storm.
