New Video : SKELETON HEAD “Split Second”

New Video  Skeleton Head

I’m really glad to share the new music video of Skeleton Head‘s “Split Second” directed by Tyler Jensen, starring the Queen of Brooklyn Drag, and the creator of the Drag festival BUSHWIG, HORRORCHATA

Skeleton Head is the dark disco / synthpop moniker of Brooklyn-based singer and composer and founder of the new label Sangron Records, Leo Torres.

“Split Second” is taken from “Sangron Volume 1”, a 10-track compilation of previously unreleased electronic music from U.S. based artists specializing in post-punk, minimal synth and experimental sounds. This ‘dissident synthpop’ compilation reflects the current state of the nation – provocative, energizing and moody but dancefloor-friendly.

Shimmering synths, spacious arrangements and evocative vocals, send the song into euphoric heights, while the punchy bassline triggers instant irresistible dance moves, to craft a sheer synth-pop gem.

“Sangron Volume 1”, a co-release with Rotterdam-based label Electronic Emergencies, featuring  songs from minimal synth pioneers Crash Course in Science and Mark Lane, alongside contributions from Skeleton Head, Revival Times, M/A/N/O/S, Ortrotasce, Minima Moralia, Silent Em, Horoscope and Paper Music, is available right now digital and on limited hand-numbered black vinyl.

Keep up with the artists :
