New Music UNDERTHESKIN \\FALL\\ (Kill Shelter Remix 2018)
The Kill Shelter remix of \\FALL\\ is one of three bonus tracks that feature on the new (remastered) re-issue of Kraków’s undertheskin’s eponymous debut album out now on Alchera Visions
As you’d expect from a Kill Shelter remix, there’s lots of builds, drops and surprises but the integrity and attitude of the original are definitely kept in tact. A rolling heavy bass line, treated vocals, phasing guitars and a heavy back beat make for an exciting re-visioning of this modern postpunk/gothic classic.
\\FALL\\ is from a series of remixes that will be released ahead of the debut Kill Shelter album which I’m reliably informed is well underway and features a host of guest vocalists and collaborators from around the globe.In interview, Pete from Kill Shelter said that he has a “global” concept for the debut release and is working with some outstanding talent from around the world to realise his vision for a body of work that represents and reflects the contemporary post-punk and darkwave scene of today.
