Its August so Paris will be deserted: the streets strangely silent as the populace disappears for a month. Les Clopes are still there, propping up the bar no one knows about where every day is a holiday anyway. The band that may or may not exist will probably be playing this feel good Gallic-pop (soon-to-be) classic to the disinterested barman and waiting patiently for the rest of the world to find them.
Les Clopes is a French 3-piece band based out of Nantes playing an infectious brand of synth-pop with French pop and new wave twists, comprised of Daniel Brumeux, Patrick Guillaume and Guillaume Patrick.
“Minimum Viable Product” (MVP) is an incremental Compilation to be built over the year by Detonic Recordings. Each Month an on-line single will be published with an “A” and “B” side from each of the international artists participating in the project..At the end of the year the complete compilation (Vinyl and CD) will be released featuring the exclusive tracks from each contributor.
