Last April evocative and immersive third album“Fire Fire Fire”, via Swiss Dark Nights, from Naples‘ Italian post-punk / darkwave 3-piece Geometric Vision showed a band in great shape with a knack for introspective, intense and gloomily melancholic dark guitar sound.
Trondheim‘s Karl Morten Dahl (aka Antipole) and Brighton-based Paris Alexander do it again! Turn the, already beautiful, original version of “Jelly Dream”, featuring She Past Away singer Volkan Caner, into an intoxicating and entertaining blend of frozen wistful synth washes, intertwining, enrapturing and sparkling plaintive guitar leads and pounding hypnotic beats that flow into mesmeric and entrancing neo-romantic ‘cold waves’ of profound yearning and melancholia.
Once again, the duo deliver their distinctive and intriguing facet to cold wave in another flawless remix.
