LCN aka Le Chocolat Noir is the cold/noir minimal electronica moniker of Croatian producer/dj Jasmin Yas. Already on the scene since the start of the new millenium, releasing music under different alias (Honored Matres, Florence Foster Fan Club and with the act FFFC) and labels (Frigio, Charlois, In The Dark Again, Kratjerkz, Mechatronica and Helena Hauff‘s Return To Disorder), Yas is a gifted open-minded producer who’s not afraid to push the boundaries of electronica mixing and experimenting with different genres from electro, EBM, techno to synthwave and acid.
The intriguing and eerie video, conceived and shot by B.A.K.A., a notorious experimental film collective from Croatia, anticipates the upcoming new EP “Autonomie” on the Enfant Terrible sublabel Gooiland Elektro.
‘Sometimes we feel ourself in a particular lonely mood. We keep our autonomy and we don’t listen to (all) the advices of our friends. There is surely nothing wrong with that’.
This refers the title ‘N’Ecoutez Pas Tous Les Conseils De Vos Amis’, a claustrophobic, menacing and hypnotic minimal electro journey with early slightly acid and new beat hints, that embodies a bleakness that never lacks warmth and crafts such raw emotions and immersive intensity to be a psychotic soundtrack to lose yourself to and have a dance loudly.
